• GCISD Board of Trustees meeting
The Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board of Trustees will meet for its
regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Dec. 11 at the GCISD Administration
Building, 3051 Ira E. Woods Ave. in Grapevine. Open session begins

CMS band/choir holiday tour
Members of the Colleyville Middle School honor band and choir will
tour various campuses throughout the District on Dec. 11 as part
of the annual holiday tour. Information: 817-305-4790.

GCISD State of the District
GCISD Superintendent Dr. Kay Waggoner will present the annual State
of the District address Dec. 12 in the Colleyville Heritage High
School Library. The address is presented by the Council of PTAs
and will follow a brief general meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. Information:

Holiday band/choir performances
Grapevine High – Band holiday concert, 7 p.m. Dec. 11 in the
GHS Auditorium.
Colleyville Heritage High – Band holiday concert, 7 p.m. Dec.
12 in the CHHS Auditorium.
Heritage Middle – Choir holiday program, 7 p.m. Dec. 13 at
Whites Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake.
Glenhope Elementary – Choir holiday program, 6:30 p.m. Dec.

TES Talent Show
Students and teachers of Timberline Elementary will perform various
songs, dances and other entertainment as part of Timberline’s
Terrific Talent Show, 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14 in the cafeteria. Admission

GCISD’s Board of Trustees will participate in a joint meeting
with the Colleyville City Council at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18 in the Colleyville

GCISD closed for winter break
GCISD campuses and administrative offices will be closed from Dec.
21-Jan. 1 for winter break. Teachers and employees return Jan. 2;
students return Jan. 4.

and Announcements
• Middle school problem solvers bring home medals
Seventh- and eighth-grade students at Cross Timbers and Heritage
middle schools earned medals for their performances on the first
practice problem of the Future Problem Solving Team Competition.
In this problem, students were required to research the topic of
fund-raising and charity giving and apply a six-step process to
a scenario set in 2032. The Cross Timbers team is coached by Karen
Moxley and the Heritage team is coached by Pam Jones.
