GCISD Student/Parent Handbook contains information that both students and parents are likely to need during the school year. In addition, both students and parents need to be familiar with the Student Code of Conduct, which includes the Dress Code. All students are provided with a copy of the handbook at the beginning of the school year. There are several items that must be signed and returned at the beginning of the school year:

• Acknowledgement of reciept of the Student/Parent Handbook
• Disclosure of Student Directory Information
• Agreement to Communicate Student Information via Email
